Vulnerability Assessment

If you are undertaking a new project upgrade, change of system configuration, policy upgrade or development then it might be the ideal time to conduct a Vulnerability Assessment to ensure your planned improvements are being implemented in the real or electronic world.

Vulnerability Assessment is the process of examining the installed network and systems and identifying the potential vulnerable components and topology. This is not a hacking type methodology as tests are undertaken with both full knowledge of the internal network staff and enhanced privileges are used to reduce the time on site.

This is quicker than a penetration test and carries a much lower level of risk. The results are clear and allow easy integration to an internal component upgrade (or security) programme.
